Chauncey Billups ignited a big second-quarter run Friday and the Detroit Pistons coasted during the second half for a 127-100 victory over Milwaukee.
Billups scored nine of his 21 points during a 29-6 rush that covered the final eight minutes of the first half and gave the Pistons a 65-46 cushion at intermission.
Billups also had 12 assists and Rasheed Wallace had 17 points for the Pistons, who have won 12 of their last 13. The lone loss in that stretch came at Milwaukee Wednesday.
The Bucks, who have lost nine of their last 10 on the road, were led by 18 points each from Michael Redd and Charlie Villanueva. Milwaukee has only five victories in its last 20 games overall.
Detroit has reached the 100-point mark in 24 games this season and has won all but one of those contests.
Detroit won the season series from Milwaukee 3-1.
